Youth Week is June 3-7; summer programs start June 9!
During the summer we recognize students and families have very different schedules and responsibilities.
As a result, our weekly programs shift to our own Summer Programs.
Take a look below at what we anticipate for 2024.

Weekly Programs
Summer 2024 Schedule, June 9 - August 4
Gathering & PGG
Sundays, 5-7pm
5pm: Attend the Gathering alternative worship service (Meet in Friendship Hall to sit together)
6pm: Walk to Village Shops
FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLERS AND HIGH SCHOOLERS
Join us on Sunday evenings this summer for discussion and fellowship. At 5pm we’ll meet at VPC to attend The Gathering service in person in Friendship Hall, at 6pm we’ll walk to the Village Shops for our “Post-Gathering Gathering”. We’ll eat together outside, ask questions, and discuss life and what we just heard during the service. Bring some money to grab whatever you want from the Village Shops for dinner. Side note, you don’t have to come at 5pm in order to come grab dinner with us at 6pm. Just come to whatever you can!
MS Mondays
Mondays, 7-9pm
Youth Loft
FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLERS
Join us every week on Monday nights for fun activities, faith, snacks, and games. Each week we’ll have something different planned—sometimes we’ll stay at VPC and hang out there, and sometimes we’ll go offsite for an activity (we’ll provide transportation). These activities will always be free, and we’ll always be back at the church by 9pm. This is a great time to introduce friends to Youth Group at VPC!
HS Late Nite
Tuesdays, 8-10pm
Youth Loft
FOR HIGH SCHOOLERS
Look forward to hanging out with the youth staff and your youth group friends every week on Tuesday nights. Each week we’ll have something different planned—sometimes we’ll stay at VPC and hang out there, and sometimes we’ll go offsite for an activity (we’ll provide transportation). These activities will always be free, and we’ll always be back at the church by 10pm. This is a great time to introduce friends to Youth Group at VPC!
Service Day
Wednesdays, 9:30am-12:30pm
Meet at the VPC South Entrance
FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLERS AND HIGH SCHOOLERS
Each week, we’ll tackle a service project or volunteer opportunity at one of many local charitable organizations in KC (we will provide transportation to the volunteer location). Every week we’ll be somewhere different, and you won’t know till you show up. Bring friends—community service feels great and it’s great for the neighborhood. Bring some lunch money if you want to grab food with the youth staff afterwards!
