We just sent letters out to families of all those who are newly eligible (9th graders) for Confirmation, which starts in January 2018. Keep a lookout in your metal box for that information.
We also know that sometimes mail gets lost, some take Confirmation who are older than 9th grade, and that our lists aren’t perfect. For that reason, we also post those forms here on the website. You can click on the image below, and you can also find them on the Forms Page.

Confirmation registration forms were sent out in the mail last week to everyone we have on our 9th grade roster, but we realize that many people…
– might not be in our database of address (no system is perfect!)
– might receive it and then lose/misplace it
– might not be connected to Village at the moment, but be recommended by a friend
– might not have their delivered (the USPS isn’t perfect either!)
– might be older than 9th grade but have not had a chance to take the class yet
In any of those cases, or for whatever reason, we are posting the contents of that letter, including the registration form and schedule, to this post, as well as to the Forms tab above.
If you have any questions about Confirmation, don’t hesitate to let us know!
In addition to being Pentecost, this Sunday is also Confirmation Sunday, when we will celebrate the students who are the newest members of the church. We can’t wait to celebrate together as a community of faith, to honor the time and thought these students have put into the process, and to take communion together – for these students it will be their first time at the communion table as full members of Village.
Welcome, Confirmation class of 2016!

A special congratulations to all those in the Confirmation class of 2015!
On Monday, May 4th, we celebrated the end of the Confirmation classes with Confirmation Dinner. That evening we had a chance to eat together, Session voted 48 students as the newest members of Village Presbyterian Church, we had the honor of performing 7 baptisms, and students read their statements of faith to their families and the families of a few of the other members of the class. It was a great night and a great group of individuals; thank you all for your work in the class this year!
We will celebrate the class in worship on May 17th at the 9:30am and 11:00am services.
With school starting back this week, we are excited for programming to start back on January 11! Not only do Sunday School and CHEER resume that day, but it is also the first Confirmation Class of the year! The rest of the week sees the return on Twosdays (Jan. 13, 4:00-5:30pm) and GPS (Jan. 14, 6:30-8:00pm).
The next couple of months sees a lot of activities going on here at VPC Youth: not only all the programming mentioned above, but also the Village Voices Lock-In (Jan. 10-11), Winter Ski Trip (Jan. 16-20), Superbowl Party (Feb. 1), Presidential Service Day (Feb. 16), and the Chili Cookoff (Feb. 22).
We can’t wait for the all the excitement to start, and hope you join us!

They also had the opportunity to read their statements of faith to their parents and a few of their fellow classmates. We look forward to celebrating the class in worship at the 9:30 and 11:00 services on May 18th!
