Confirmation is the process by which our youth learn about what it means to be in a relationship with Jesus Christ as a member of the church. Confirmation classes are open to 9th graders as well as any older students who have not yet taken it. Our time is spent primarily in discussion and small groups. We welcome anyone and everyone, no matter what your past experience is with church, faith, and God. Confirmation classes begin in January and go through the beginning of May.
At the end of the class, students will have the option to be confirmed as a member of the Body of Christ at Village Presbyterian. There is no obligation to do so, but we offer additional responsibilities and materials for those who are interested.
If you are an adult who wants to help run small groups for Confirmation, you’ll need to fill out a registration form as well. Thank you so much for your enthusiasm! We welcome adult volunteers.
