And, if that wasn’t amazing enough, registration and forms will be out soon for all of our summer trips. AAAAAAANNNDDDD, we will be rolling out the ability to register for trips online as well as the ability to pay by credit card. Fancy!!!
It’s almost 2018…holy cow. We hope you are enjoying a happy and safe holiday season! Check out the January newsletter here and keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming post about summer trip forms. Yes, it’s that time already. No, we don’t know where the time went. But we sure are glad it was spent with all of you!
From all of us here at Village Youth…
It’s December! With just one month left in 2017, we’re here with the final newsletter for this year…so crazy. Make sure to pay attention to program breaks and if you’re a 9th grader, make note of the start of Confirmation! Everyone is welcome. You can find the newsletter here or stop by the church and pick up a printed copy in the youth department or South reception.
Schools are on break this week, which means all of our programs are on break as well – regular programs return on Sunday, Nov. 26.
Enjoy the holiday, enjoy time off, enjoy family, give thanks for the gifts we have been given. Happy Thanksgiving!
We just sent letters out to families of all those who are newly eligible (9th graders) for Confirmation, which starts in January 2018. Keep a lookout in your metal box for that information.
We also know that sometimes mail gets lost, some take Confirmation who are older than 9th grade, and that our lists aren’t perfect. For that reason, we also post those forms here on the website. You can click on the image below, and you can also find them on the Forms Page.
Tonight at SNL is the annual PhotoHunt for high school! It’s a fun night of exploring, finding clues, and strategizing to become the 2017 Champ.
It’s also Bring-a-Friend Night, so if you bring a friend, both you and the friend get to enter a raffle for other amazing prizes!
It’s fun, it’s amazing, it’s PhotoHunt!
Don’t forget to turn back your clocks!
Have leftover Halloween candy? Donate it to the Youth Department!
This year we are once again sending college care packages out, and we fill those packages with your leftover candy. It’s a great way to help care for our college students, letting them know we are thinking of them… and some real mail containing a little sugar is always welcomed by students at school.
Donated candy can be left at either reception desk (north or south) at the church. Just put a label on it that says “Youth Department” and it will find its way to us.
Happy November! It’s almost the holidays. Holy moly. Check out the events coming up in November and December here or swing by the church, say hi, and pick up a printed copy of the newsletter for your fridge. Don’t forget to bring that extra Halloween candy for our college student packages! They need the sugar too!
