Weekly Programs

Weekly high school programs with Village Youth Ministry run during the school year (September through May) and are always free to participate. Any high schooler, regardless of church affiliation or religious beliefs, is invited and welcome to attend our programs, so bring your friends. No signup required—just bring yourself!

GPS (Growing Personally & Spiritually)

Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8pm
Youth Loft

GPS is our weekly ministry for middle school students, 7th-8th grade. On Wednesday nights we gather together for games, worship, teaching, and small group discussions. This is your time to connect with students from other schools who are going through the same thing you are…the adventures of middle school! We strive to make GPS a place where students can engage with each other and share their joys, concerns, and everyday struggles in an environment that is accepting to all.

Lofternoons

Tuesday afternoons, 4-5:30pm
Youth Loft

Lofternoons is our weekly after-school program for middle schoolers. Our time together is unstructured and students can do anything from dodgeball to hanging out to homework. Many students walk over to the church together from nearby schools. If the weather is bad, we’ll pick students up from Indian Hills MS in the church van (follow us on Instagram to find out if we’re coming to pick up). Students from all schools are invited and bringing friends is encouraged! Snacks are always provided.

Sunday Brunch

Sunday mornings, 9-10am
Youth Loft

Each Sunday morning we will gather to eat some food and talk about a different topic and activity. We have a casual atmosphere on Sunday mornings, and all are welcome; and it is not uncommon that we visit the Cup for a treat at the end of class!
(Note: on the first Sunday of each month we will attend worship together - you can sit with us or stay with your family!)

Make Some Music

We love music at Village! Participants in the youth choir and youth band will have opportunities to perform during worship at Village services as well as during Youth events. Check them out below.

Youth Band

The Youth Band is an amazing opportunity to refine your music skills, learn a bunch of songs, and learn how to lead worship. Not only does the Youth Band lead music during youth group several times a month throughout the year, they also perform in worship a number of times. If you play the piano, violin, cello, trombone, Moog synthesizer, or anything else there is a spot in the Youth Band for you!

Village Voices Youth Choir

Village Voices is a four-part youth choir at VPC, open to grades 7-12 (both middle and high school). The youth choir takes music and performance seriously, but not at the cost of building community and having a lot of fun.
